Current projects in the lab center on improving both sample preparation and informatics of high throughput and single cell proteomics. Current projects that could fit cleanly into a rotational project include:
1) Extracting metabolites and proteins from single human cells.
2) Comparison of correlation algorithms combining metabolomic and proteomic data extracted from the same tissues.
3) Fine tuning low cost robotic solutions to automate proteomic and single cell proteomic sample preparation and analysis.
