This rotation will offer opportunities to work in one of two projects; one focused on harnessing T follicular helper cells to generate long-lived antibodies, and another aimed at defining the cellular basis of neuroinflammation through targeted immune profiling.

Dr. Smita Iyer is an infectious disease immunologist whose research delves into the intricacies of CD4 T cells, exploring their role in antibody responses and in neuroinflammation caused by viruses like HIV, CMV, and SARS-CoV-2.
